Sophia Hatfield
Sophia is a theatre-maker and facilitator with a diverse practice that includes writing, composing, producing and performing. Having worked as a professional actor and musician for almost 20 years, Sophia began writing and producing storytelling performances for library and community spaces in 2016. This led her to set up Stute Theatre CIC, specialising in touring theatre to libraries, schools, museums and community spaces. Sophia performs all over the UK as a storyteller, with recent clients including Bradford Literature Festival, The National Football Museum and Manchester Libraries. She was Storyteller in Residence at the Brontë Parsonage Museum throughout 2024 and, as a new mum to two small children, regularly runs creative baby and toddler sessions.
Helen Slevin
Helen is a theatre and events producer with over 10 years experience. Having previously worked in stage management departments across a number of regional theatres, Helen moved into producing when she completed a secondment on the New Vic Theatre’s ambitious Hoard Festival. Since then Helen has become Co-Director of Filament Projects and worked for a range of organisation’s including Claybody Theatre, Appetite Stoke, and video design studio PixelLux. Helen also completed an MA in International Cultural Policy at the University of Warwick.
