Stute Theatre’s 2022 touring production brought audiences the best-known, most-loved family of writers in English literature – the brilliant and passionate Brontë sisters. With live looped spoken word, soaring vocal harmonies and an unexpected twist; this modern adaptation shone a new light on the artistry and resilience of three remarkable Yorkshire women. This production was created by Sophia Hatfield and Stute Theatre, in association with The Stephen Joseph Theatre and the Brontë Parsonage Museum and in collaboration with Filament Projects.
